Each zinc washer weighs approximately 14.5g, so use multiple washers to add the right amount mass to attain your targeted tuning frequency. Make sure the 38.1 mm washer is small enough to fit through the rear hole in your passive's frame and the shaft for mass is 6.35 mm or smaller.   These zinc washers also work perfect with nut and bolt sets with heads larger than 6.35 mm The washers protect wood surfaces from scaring when tightening the nut and bolt set.
